Scientists had created a molecule that keeps the monkeys free of HIV. No matter how large the dose was the monkeys were not affected. The longer the mutated they become more developed monsters. As they develop into greater monsters they would be stronger and harder to take down but surviving humans. Also in this world animals are unaffected by the mutating disease but can end up as prey for these monsters. Before a person is actually turned into one of these monsters there are certain signs. Signs like unordinary actions and physical sicknesses like blistering skin.

Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device

This device is known by many as the ASPHPD or the Portal Gun by some. This handheld device has the ability to make 2 linked portals. The distance that be between these portals are unlimited. When created each portal will have 2 certain colors that outlines it, Orange and Blue. Entering one portal will make you exit from wherever the second is located.

These machines are powered my nuclear energy. It also runs on vacuum tubes, the same as old television sets. Before people started using the ASPHPD robots were created with artificial intelligence and these devices build onto them for testing. These 2 robots where named Atlas and P-Body. They were put through many test to see how well the device worked and how well their minds were.
